When I woke up in the middle of the night, I found that my whole body was sweating, and the quilt was wet. My first reaction was that I had wet the bed. Haha, I quickly lifted the quilt and found out it was a false alarm. The second half of the night was a disaster, it was too hot with the quilt, and too cold without it, tossing and turning all night.

The alarm clock rang at 6 o’clock, got up at half past six, dazed all night, very groggy in the morning, opened the phone to check the temperature at 7 degrees, sunny, then got up and went downstairs, took a photo first, from here on, the thighs and buttocks have started to stop hurting, trained out, but the place where the leg was pulled is still painful.

Rode about 20 kilometers and arrived in Batang County.

Batang has a travel code inspection today, just checked the travel code, my friend and I are together, my travel code no longer shows Shenzhen, so I can pass directly, but my friend’s still shows Shenzhen, and according to the requirements, he can only go back to Litang to take a nucleic acid test again to pass, there’s no way, I can only go to Batang first to wait for him.

Not long after passing the checkpoint, there is a climb of about 12 kilometers, passing Haizi Mountain, the 12-kilometer climb is also very tiring, especially against the wind, because the altitude is over 4000, I have been coughing all the way, and I met a big sister from Shaanxi who was cycling together, a cough split a sentence into three parts before it was finished, the cough was too severe.

Haizi Mountain is nearly 4700 meters above sea level, it’s really cold when riding up, there are large pieces of natural ice on the roadside, the snow mountain is not far away, and it’s against the wind, then add clothes, prepare to go downhill.

From the pass down, it’s all downhill for dozens of kilometers, it’s too cold, you can see the Sister Lakes in a few minutes of downhill.

Then continue to go downhill, there are several kilometers of cement road in the middle, with gaps in the middle, some places are a bit rotten, pay attention to the speed, otherwise it will be bumpy, too fast is easy to fall.

The strategy says that it’s more than 80 kilometers downhill directly to Batang from Haizi Mountain, but in fact, the last 30 kilometers are actually undulating roads, not all downhill.

Many downhills are quite steep, pay attention to the speed.

This downhill road is inside the Cuopu Gully scenic area, the scenery is very good.

The whole downhill will pass through 6 tunnels.

This is the first one, Dedah Tunnel, with lights.

There are 2 tunnels out of 6 that have no lights, it’s important to turn on the flashlight and the bike’s flash or frog lights in advance, safety is very important.

Sometimes the road in the tunnel is not flat, there are pits, pay attention to the speed, see the road clearly, safety is very important.

Because I was alone, I didn’t have lunch, I ate some snacks in the shade by the roadside, and then continued to rush.

This afternoon, I also encountered falling rocks, when passing by, the rocks on the mountain were still falling on the road, the police car was on the opposite side, the police uncle was observing in the middle of the road, later it didn’t fall anymore, quickly waved to signal to pass quickly, it’s May now, not the rainy season, if you take the Sichuan-Tibet line in July and August, you must pay attention, landslides and so on, there will be every year.

Arrived in Batang County around 3:30 in the afternoon, the second half of the journey was all downhill, so it saved a lot of time.

Batang is more than 2000 meters above sea level, coming down from more than 4000 meters, the overall feeling is very comfortable, and I don’t cough anymore, at lower altitudes, the cough is gone by itself, because I didn’t sleep well for two nights in Litang, now Batang is more than 2000 meters above sea level, I’m going to take a day off to rest and catch up on sleep.
