Niushou Mountain is located in Jiangning District, Nanjing. It gets its name because the two prominent peaks on the top of the mountain stand opposite each other, resembling the two horns of an ox’s head.
With an altitude of 242.9 meters, Niushou Mountain is the place where the Buddhist Niutou Chan Sect was founded and originated. It boasts rich natural scenery and profound cultural heritages.
