Itinerary Introduction
Take the Bus M472 to Longteng Road Station (Bus Stop)
Yangtai Mountain Forest Park Climbing Square -> Hundred-Meter Bamboo Path -> Big Yangtai Mountain Summit
Departure:
Use Gaode Map to locate Longteng Road Station. I took the bus M472 from Fuyong Subway Station and arrived directly, which took about an hour and a half. You can choose your own travel method based on Gaode’s recommended transportation.
After getting off at Longteng Road Station, continue straight ahead. You will see signs after a short walk. It’s about 400 meters from the bus station to the climbing square.
Upon arrival, enter the square from the archway. The toilet is to the right front, and to the left are several staircases leading to the mountain climbing trail.
There are many routes, but it is recommended to use Gaode Map, which can clearly show every path.
The route I took today is as follows: from a row of pavilions on the left side of the climbing square, find a staircase entrance to enter.
The entrance is above the pavilion, with a sign placed next to it. Once you see the sign, you can confidently walk up.
Below, the first sign you see is a stone pillar. Turn right and walk up.
Further ahead, you will encounter another fork in the road with a location sign, allowing you to see where you are.
I took the fork to the left front, aiming to reach the Hundred-Meter Bamboo Path. This route is all uphill stone steps.
Then there is another fork in the road, go to the left.
You will encounter several more forks in the road later, all to the left, with signs nearby.
After walking for a while, you will come across a small bridge. Cross it and continue up the mountain on the left path.
After a hard walk, you will come to another fork in the road, continue to the left.
This time, when you reach the end, it’s the climbing road to the Hundred-Meter Bamboo Path.
When you reach this climbing road, go to the right. There is only one path, leading directly to the summit of Big Yangtai Mountain, so you don’t have to worry about getting lost.
If it’s your first time here, it is recommended to climb directly from the climbing square, from the ancient road ruins—>Jin Shi Shou—>Plant Corridor—>Hundred-Meter Bamboo Path—>Big Yangtai Mountain Summit. It’s more convenient to take one path up the mountain.
After going up from the intersection, go to the right and climb straight up.
It’s all uphill. Rest more when you’re tired to conserve your strength. I’m already sweating profusely now.
There are many stone benches on the side of the road for resting.
Then pay attention to the signs. The top is the ninth station, and now you’ve just reached the fourth station, almost halfway there, keep going.
Encounter a small fork in the road, continue to follow the main road forward.
I’ve reached the fifth station, my short-sleeved shirt is soaked with sweat, take a break, and continue.
At the sixth station, let me explain why I turned to this route for climbing. This mountain road is all under the shade of trees, not sunny, and secondly, this road is on the ridge, with a breeze, very cool.
Past the sixth station, there is a public toilet, and next to it is the Hundred-Meter Bamboo Path. As shown in the picture, the Hundred-Meter Bamboo Path is really only a hundred meters away, and then it’s back to the main road. It is recommended to continue up on the main road.
Above is a platform, which is the intersection of the highway and the mountain road.
After going up to the platform, if you are physically exhausted, it is recommended to take the highway to the left, which also leads to the summit. If you are still physically okay, continue up the middle mountain climbing road.
It’s another fork in the road, continue along the main road, most of the forks have a route sign, pay attention to your location.
When you see the sign for the eighth station, you are not far from the summit.
A small fork in the road, this is the junction of the highway and the mountain road, and the summit is about 100 meters ahead.
路的尽头就是到顶了,顶下面有休息区,休息一会 The end of the road is the summit, and there is a rest area at the bottom of the summit, take a break.
At the top, this is the Big Yangtai Mountain Summit of Yangtai Mountain. The summit is a platform with a very good view. If it’s summer, pay attention to sun protection, and there is also a Small Yangtai Mountain Summit to visit next time.
When going down the mountain, I chose to go down the Dalang Climbing Trail, which is convenient for taking the subway.
